Daniel Pyne | Managing Broker

Daniel Pyne is the President and Managing Broker of Pyne Properties, LLC, a Chicago based residential and commercial real estate brokerage. Dan founded Pyne Properties on the belief that his diverse experience and immersive approach to brokerage and property management will result in the establishment of a new (and needed) level of professional standards.

Since entering the real estate industry, Dan has successfully brokered properties that had prior to his involvement proven difficult to sell. He has also successfully negotiated with lenders to avoid property foreclosure to allow instead for the sale of the property and is sought after to represent properties in court ordered receiverships. Above all, Dan is committed to providing the highest quality of service to his clients to help them to achieve their goals.

Jon Litwin

I’m a seasoned real estate professional eager to guide my clients through the big transition of buying, selling, leasing, or renting their next home, investment, or business location. Moving is an enormous transition for an individual, family, or business and it is very meaningful for me to be alongside my clients as part of that important journey. It is a huge privilege to earn the trust of my clients and I consider it my number one priority to make sure they are completely satisfied with their experience working with me. I believe life is about helping people and building relationships. If I do my job correctly, I will help make a stressful journey into an enjoyable and exciting life experience, and the relationships I build will far outlast the closing dates of real estate transactions. That’s the goal, and that’s why I love my job!

Aside from being a real estate broker, I’ve also flipped houses so I have unique perspective that can help investors. I am the president of a nonprofit that benefits Mayfair Park on the northwest side of Chicago. I’m an Indiana University Bloomington alumnus. I have season tickets to the Chicago Bears (and I’m old enough to remember the last time they were Champions!). I enjoy traveling and swimming. Each year I go on a bicycle trip that spans a few hundred miles. I am an avid BBQ pit master and I consider myself to be both an aspiring wine snob and a Chicago dive bar/brewery enthusiast! I’m not quite fluent in Spanish but my wife was born in Colombia so I have an excellent translator for Spanish and Portuguese. Having and sharing fun experiences is a big part of who I am. I look forward to meeting and working with you!

Poppy Akrabawi

Poppy has been making my mark in the Chicago real estate market since obtaining my license in 2005. After living in Hawaii for 22 years, she traded island life for the Windy City in 2000 and has called Lakeview her home for the past 25 years. Poppy’s extensive knowledge of Chicago and its surrounding Northwest suburbs has proven invaluable to her clients. As a mother and wife to a 20-year Chicago Public School teacher, she understands the importance of finding the perfect community and home for families. She takes pride in her ability to connect with clients from all walks of life, from first-time buyers to seasoned investors. Poppy’s background in the restaurant business, spanning from 1987 to 2017, has ingrained in her the significance of exceptional customer service and the value of repeat business. With experience in rehabbing properties and a keen eye for potential, She is well-equipped to help buyers envision the possibilities that lie within each property. Poppy’s love for working with both buyers and sellers, as well as her unwavering commitment to going the extra mile, makes her an indispensable asset to her clients’ real estate needs.
